It’s Advent! A wonderful time waiting for Jesus! I know that Advent is also very busy time for many people but it’s important to find time for HER and HIM. For Mary and for Jesus. Christmas time doesn’t make sense if we forget about its real meaning. Shopping, cooking, buying presents, decorating? Yes, why not. But without exaggeration! Advent is the best time to prepare your hearts –for HIM! Have a great Advent!
Advent has begun with really frozen weather! This morning it was -8°C. Low temperature like that is rare here. We also have snow. A little, but enough for my Zosia. She was very surprised when she saw snow. She was shocked when she tried to take snow into her hands. It was too cold for her! But she really enjoyed playing in the snowy garden.
One day I was looking through my (very) old crochet magazines and I have found a few lovely patterns for crochet bells. I would like to share them with you. I hope you like these crochet bells as much as I like them.
Once I edited a free parish bulletin for children and just the other day I found a picture story about Advent in my drawer. I remember that picture stories were favourites of my Elzbieta. I wrote and drew it thinking about her. I know that many children love picture stories. This story is about Advent and preparing an Advent lampion. Children in Poland make lampions with a candle or a light bulb inside and go to the church with them for a special Advent service. It looks wonderful in the dark evening. Unfortunately this story is in polish.
As you can see, I have changed the blog image. I wanted to have three columns, but I didn’t know how to get them (I’m a bit slow at computers). Thank you, Titania!!! Thank you for the tips and instructions. Thanks to you, I finally did it!
